Nikola Doubková works in PromethistAI as a psychologist. She is doing her Ph.D. in Psychology at Charles University and also works as a first stage researcher in the National Institute of Mental Health, Czech Republic.
She is interested in intraindividual variability, otherness, and personality disorders. She is currently undergoing specialized training in Person-centered psychotherapy
Jan Šedivý has three decades of experience in the IT industry.
He has led numerous global research and development projects and is the holder of 19 US patents. He began as a researcher and research manager at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center (1992-2008), later moving to Google as a Technical Lead Manager (2008-2010).
He subsequently returned to CTU-CIIRC, where he leads the NLP group - which has won one of the top three prizes in the Amazon Alexa contest no less than three times.
Vít Jakimiv studied philosophy, ancient Greek, and Latin at the Charles University in Prague. Between 2012 and 2020, he taught German, French, and Czech. From 2016 to 2020, he was a language advisor in the Czech TV News.
Since 2019, he has worked as a conversational UX designer in PromethistAI.
Radek Heissler earned his master‘s degree from Charles University in Clinical Psychology. Currently, he also works as a research psychologist at the National Institute of Mental Health, where he carries out research on personality disorders and cognitive psychology, affective disorders, otherness, trauma, SuperAging, and other topics.
His psychotherapic focus is based on the existential approach (logotherapy), but is also inspired by other approaches, such as CBT or solution-focused therapy.
As a bonus, he also studies Catholic theology.
Ondrej Becev is a product designer at Promethist AI and a neuroscientist at National Institute of Mental Health, Czechia and CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology.
He likes to think about ways to combine insights from psychology with the voice-first technology in order to create progressive mental health applications backed by science. He also conducts research on the Sense of Agency and intention awareness in voluntary action.
Juraj Jonáš is a psychology researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health and trained psychotherapist (integrative approach with the main focus on gestalt and body therapy).
He is also a PhD. student of clinical psychology at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University, where he previously studied ethnology and psychology. He worked at the Czech Academy of Sciences. His main focus are cross-cultural psychology and cognitive functions in various clinical and non-clinical populations.
